OUTREACH DIRECTOR

Judith Lazu has 28 years of experience in healthcare and substance abuse. She is a Peer Recovery Specialist who is compassionate and empathetic with life experience. Her favorite bible verse is "I can do anything through Christ who strengthens me." This motivates Judith to continue in this field daily.

Ella Suggs has been in Administration for over 25 years. During that time, she has overseen numerous outreach projects, such as serving the community by feeding and clothing the homeless. Mental and Behavioral health fairs. Ella loves to help with the underserved population. She currently works at Pillar College as Director of Support and Advising.

Ella holds a B.S. in Industrial Management specializing in Marketing from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, New Jersey, a Certificate in Visual Communication from Gibbs College, Montclair, New Jersey, and an MBA in Managing the Global Economy from Excelsior College, Albany, New York.

Lester Suggs has been in the Behavioral Health field for 39 years at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital. He loves helping people navigate through life issues so they can have a productive lifestyle. This led him to start Just One Big Happy Family LLC organization in Irvington, New Jersey so that he could utilize the skills that he acquired personally, professionally, and academically. His motto is to “Reach One Teach One and Encourage One.”

Lester Suggs holds a B.A. in Psychology and Counseling from Pillar College in Newark, New Jersey. He is also certified as the following: Peer Support Specialist, Peer Recovery Specialist, Domestic Violence, Wellness Recovery Action Plan, and Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery.
